Exercise book, 1838.

Consists of examples and word problems for arithmetic, the single rule of three, proportions, fractions, barter, and calculating interest. The last two pages have recipes for making ink and paste. The volume itself was made and sold by Nathaniel March, bookseller and stationer in Portsmouth, N.H. The front cover features a multiplication table and an engraving depicting a globe, telescope, and books. The back cover contains an advertisement for March's business.
